many battles, but now he had an ever bigger task
ahead of him. The Blobs’ homeworld is still
littered with the alien forces and Bob once again
makes it his task to lead the counter attack. But
even without Galdov the aliens are still extremely
well organised.

libv4l is a collection of libraries that adds a
thin abstraction layer on top of video4linux2
(V4L2) devices. The purpose of this layer is to
make it easy for application writers to support a
wide variety of devices without having to write
separate code for different devices in the same
class. It consists of 3 different libraries.
libv4lconvert offers functions to convert from any
(known) pixel format to V4l2_PIX_FMT_BGR24 or
V4l2_PIX_FMT_YUV420. libv4l1 offers the
(deprecated) v4l1 API on top of v4l2 devices,
independent of the drivers for those devices
supporting v4l1 compatibility (which many v4l2
drivers do not). libv4l2 offers the v4l2 API on
top of v4l2 devices, while adding for the
application transparent libv4lconvert conversion
where necessary.

pppd-sql is a plugin for the Point-to-Point server
(pppd) on Linux and Solaris that adds an
authentication backend using a MySQL or PostgreSQL
database for the Challenge Handshake

Authentication Protocol (PAP). It supports
MS-CHAPv1 and MS-CHAPv2 too. The IPCP negotiation
after authentication handshake is also supported.

squid-nufw-helper is an external ACL helper
for Squid that provides Single Sign On
capabilities. It uses the NuFW firewall suite

Fur is a filesystem based on FUSE which mounts a

This release adds a fake chmod fuse hook to allow Konqueror to work smoothly on the FUR filesystem. A workaround has been added for devices that crash while reading the “windows” directory.

Ctalk provides object oriented programming features, like classes, methods, operator overloading, and inheritance to otherwise standard C programs. You can use only a few objects and classes in a program, or you can write programs entirely in Ctalk. The package provides a translator from Ctalk source code into C for compilation and a library that provides run-time support for class objects. The preprocessor, ctpp, is also available separately, and the package includes sample programs and documentation.

Approdictio provides implementations of
dictionaries that allow approximate lookup. When
looking up a word, all words are returned that are
approximately equal to the word given. The
definition of approximately equal depends on the
metric provided to define the distance between two
words. An implementation of the Levensthein Metric
with customizable edit costs is part of the package.

Shed (simple hex editor) is a hex editor written for Unix/Linux using ncurses, with a friendly pico-style interface. It shows data in ASCII, hex, dec, oct, and binary, and allows editing in all of these bases. Features also include searching and dumping.

Yes! Paste! is a pastebin tool writen in Python
with the Web framework Pylons. It allows you to
add a comment to the paste, and allows user
comments. Comments can be formatted with BBCode syntax (with [code][/code] possibilities), and Pygments is used for code highlighting. Yes!
Paste! can be used easily on the command line with a ‘yespaste’ client in Python, and writing new
clients is not difficult. It depends on Pylons, Pygments, and SQLAlchemy.

Jurpopage is a dynamic Web site scripting project.
The project’s goal is to help others to create
their own Web sites with a design that can be
easily changed.

Meld is a visual diff and merge tool. It integrates with most version control systems. The diff viewer lets you edit files in place (diffs update dynamically), and a middle column shows detailed changes and allows merges. The margins show location of changes for easy browsing, and it also features a tabbed interface that allows you to open many diffs at once.

PyGTK 2.8 is now required. Ported to gtk.UIManager. Spaces in svn paths are handled. There is a command line auto-compare all option on startup. The command line can launch several comparisons. There are several UI tweaks (better focus behavior and better defaults).

UJO Framework offers a special architecture of beans different from conventional JavaBeans. The useful features are XML persistence of an object tree, simple introspection, easy collaboration with Swing tables, and very light weight.

There are three new Ujo implementations for different purposes. FactoryUjo is a factory to create new instances by property type. The special parameter constructor is supported, as well as no parameter constructor. RegistrarUjo allows one to register the PropertyChangeListener for a selected property and an action (before or after) value change. FieldUjo provides access to private object fields by UjoProperty. All implementations are in a different package structure, and will not be in the core in the future.

Tokyo Cabinet is a library of routines for managing a database. It is the successor of QDBM. Tokyo Cabinet runs very fast. For example, the time required to store 1 million records is 1.5 seconds for a hash database and 2.2 seconds for a B+ tree database. Moreover, the database size is very small. For example, the overhead for a record is 16 bytes for a hash database, and 5 bytes for a B+ tree database. Furthermore, the scalability of Tokyo Cabinet is great. The database size can be up to 8EB.

TimestampType is a type of field that can be used to parse plain time stamps (seconds or milliseconds since Jan 1st, 1970). pnmcurve is a command line tool that applies tone
curves to pnm images. Curves are specified as a
set of control points of a cubic spline. pnmcurve
applies the resulting spline curve to the pnm
image read from stdin and writes the resulting
image to stdout. Command line switches allow the
user to apply the curve only to selected color
channels. A separate FLTK-based graphical curve editor helps to set the control points.

The libexplain project provides a library that may
be used to explain Unix and Linux system call
errors. This will make your application’s error
messages much more informative to your users. The

strerror, but it comes close, each system call has
a dedicated libexplain function.

feresPost is a Ruby extension that provides the
definition of classes and modules devoted to the
development of automated post-processing for
Nastran or Samcef finite element results. The
library allows easy manipulation of finite element
models, groups, and results. Efficient
post-processing is possible because the
time-consuming operations are written in C/C++.
